A WebQuest is an inquiry-based project using Internet resources to help students use higher-order thinking skills, work in collaboration with others, and develop an end-product that conveys what they have learned. In this workshop, you will learn more about WebQuests, explore those already created, learn how to evaluate and select good WebQuests and find a WebQuest that you can use in your classroom! If you’d like to make a day of WebQuests – register for the afternoon session entitled “Developing WebQuests” where you will learn to create your own!

“Quiet on the Set” – Video Editing Made Easy Chuck Tucker

As part of a new district communication initiative, the Superintendent would like all teaching staff to create and post web pages. (This is a different web page design program than EdWeb, our prior web page system) If you elect to participate in the summer web page class, then September 1st is a "trade-off" day for you and you do not have to attend school on that day. All teachers are expected to attend training for this initiative either during the summer OR on September 1st.
